1.1. "Jusnote" LLC, registration number 43307114, Ukraine ("Jusnote", "we", "us", "our") are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy sets out how we process (collect, store, use, disclose, transfer, delete or destroy) data that identifies or relates to you (“personal data”), as well as information about our use of cookies and similar technologies.

1.2. Jusnote uses a cloud-based legal practice management solution (“Jusnote Service” or “Jusnote”), available at app.jusnote.com, our website jusnote.com (the “Website”), mobile application, as well as in other products that we provide.

1.3. This privacy policy applies to Jusnote Service.

1.4. Before accessing or using Jusnote, make sure you read and understand how we collect, store, process, transmit and use your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy. By accessing or using the Jusnote Service, you accept and agree to the activities outlined in this privacy policy.

The personal information we process

2.1. Information you provide to us. We collect personal information, that is voluntarily provided by you, by filling out forms on our Website, or by contacting us by phone, email, or otherwise. This also includes information that you provide when you register to use our Jusnote Service, participate in any discussions, forums, contests, promotions, surveys, etc. we conduct, and when you report an issue with our Website or Jusnote Service or ask us about the terms of use or operation of certain Jusnote functions.

2.2. If you choose not to provide us with the required personally identifiable information, we will not be able to provide you with the Jusnote Service or answer any of your questions.

2.3. Information we collect from other sources. We may obtain information about you from individuals or entities that are subscribers to the Jusnote Service (the “Subscriber”) and have invited you to join the Jusnote Service as a user. We may obtain information about you if you use any of the other websites (services) we use or utilize the services we provide from time to time. We also work closely with third parties (such as but not limited to subcontractors in technical services, payment services, advertisers, analytics or search providers, credit bureaus) and can obtain information about you from them under your agreements with third parties.

2.4. In Annex 1, we list the personal data you give us, the purpose, and the legal basis for personal data processing.

2.5. We also automatically collect information about how you access the Jusnote Service, as well as information about the device you use to log in to Jusnote.

2.6. In Annex 2, we list the personal data we collect about you automatically, the purpose, and the legal basis for personal data processing.

2.7. We may associate and combine the personal information we collect and/or receive from you and the information we collect automatically. This allows us to provide you with a personalized experience and assistance no matter how you interact with us.

2.8. We may impersonate any personally identifiable information about you (to prevent you from being identified) and use anonymous information to test our IT systems, research, analyze data, improve Jusnote service, and develop new products and features. We may also share such impersonal information with others.

Transfer of personal data

3.1. We will not share your personal information with third parties, except as outlined in this privacy policy or in connection with the use of Jusnote. We may share your information with our chosen third parties, including:

• Business partners, suppliers, or contractors/subcontractors who provide services on our behalf (these companies are authorized to use your personal information for as long as it is necessary to provide these services to us).
• Analytics and Search Engine Providers that help us improve and optimize our Website.
• Credit agencies and bureaus to evaluate your credit rating if this is a condition for entering into a contract with you.
• Payment systems in order to perform the relevant payment transactions.

To third parties in connection with the Jusnote Business Agreement. Personal information may be disclosed to third parties in connection with an agreement such as a merger, sale of assets or shares of Jusnote, reorganization, acquisition of part or all of our business. If Jusnote is involved in a merger, sale of all or part of its assets, you will be notified by email or by posting an appropriate public notice on our Website.

3.2. In certain cases, we may be required to disclose personal information in response to legitimate requests from government agencies, including law enforcement agencies.

3.3. We may disclose your personal information if we are required to disclose or transfer such information in order to comply with any legal obligations or to comply with or apply our Jusnote Terms of Service ( https://jusnote.com/terms-of-service/ ) and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jusnote, our customers or others. If you are in the European Union (“EU”) or outside the EU, your personal data will be processed in Ukraine and the EU; this international transfer of personal data will be carried out under the provisions on the protection of personal data adopted by the European Parliament and the Council. Our steps to ensure the secure international transfer of personal data will include, in particular, the existence of appropriate agreements with personal data processors, which will contain adequate data security procedures in accordance with the EU requirements. 3.5. Public knowledge center. Our Website includes public blogs, a knowledge center, or community forums. Any information you provide in these places may be read, collected, and used by others who have access to it. This also contains information posted on our public social networks. To request this information to be removed from our blog or forum, please contact us at privacy@jusnote.com. In some cases, we will not be able to delete your personal information, and, in such cases, we will notify you why we are unable to do this.

3.6. Reviews. With permission, we may share personal feedback from satisfied clients on our website. If you want to update or delete your feedback, you can contact us at privacy@jusnote.com.

4. Marketing and advertising

4.1. From time to time, we may contact you with relevant inquiries regarding the Jusnote Service and other Jusnote products. Most requests will be sent electronically. For some communications, we may use the personal data we collect about you to determine the most relevant information to contact you.

4.2. If you do not want to receive such notifications from us, you may notify us by sending an email to privacy@jusnote.com or by unsubscribing yourself by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails.

5. Storage of personal data

5.1. Security. Jusnote implements administrative and technical measures to keep customer data secure. All information is stored on secure servers in a controlled environment with limited access. Any transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. If you have created a password that will allow you to access the Jusnote Service (some of its sites), you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of that password. Subscribers (users) should not tell anyone their password.

5.2. Although the transmission of information over the Internet is not completely secure, we take reasonable steps to protect personal data. We cannot guarantee the security of your personal data transmitted to the Jusnote Service or our Website by you; any transmission to the Jusnote Service or our Website is at your own risk. Once we receive your personal information, we will use clear procedures and security features to prevent unauthorized access to such information.

5.3. We will retain your personal information for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which we collected it, including satisfying our legitimate business interests and complying with any legal or reporting requirements.

5.4. In order to determine the period of storage of personal data, we take into account the purpose and legal basis of personal data processing, the potential risk of harm due to unauthorized use or disclosure of personal data, as well as legal requirements.

5.5. Upon expiration of the retention period of personal data or at your request, your personal data will be destroyed.

6. Referral program

6.1. We can use the referral program for Jusnote. You may provide us with the names and email addresses of individuals who, in your opinion, may be interested in receiving additional information about our products and services in exchange for a fee (such as free use of Jusnote, etc.). We will process the contact information you provide to track the work of our help desk. The named person may request removal of their contact information from our database and may at any time contact us at privacy@jusnote.com and request removal.

6.2. If you provide us with the names and email addresses of such individuals as set out above, you will obtain the prior consent of those individuals to the processing of their personal data and provide them with information about how we process their personal information under this privacy policy.

7. Your rights regarding personal data

7.1. You have the following rights concerning your personal data that we process:

Right to access. You have the right to know if Jusnote is processing information about you, to get information on the details of data processing, and also to obtain a copy of the data in the format in which Jusnote processes personal data.

Right to clarify. You have the right to request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data about you without undue delay from our side.

Right to erasure. In some cases and under certain conditions, you may request to get your personal data deleted, for example, when personal data are no longer required in relation to the purposes for which they were processed.

Right to restrict processing. You may require us to limit the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when you contest its accuracy.

Right to object to processing. You have the right to object, to require that personal data not be processed due to your personal situation or for marketing purposes, which we may conduct under this privacy policy.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

8.1. Jusnote uses cookies and similar technologies (generally referred to as Cookies) to distinguish you from other Jusnote Service users. This helps us provide you with quality service, personalize content, monitor and improve our Website and services, as well as for other internal purposes. Like most websites, we collect certain information automatically. The information we can collect is described in the table in Annex 2.

Essentially required cookies. These cookies are necessary for the basic operation of Jusnote or our Website, for example, to authenticate you and prevent fraud.

If you become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information without the appropriate consent of the authorized persons, please let us know in any way that we may delete such information.

11.1. We may update this privacy policy from time to time, so you should review this page periodically. If any substantive changes to this privacy policy are made, we will update the "last updated" date at the end of this privacy policy. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
